Place Your Order: Select your media types, choose your add-ons (like USB drives), and complete the checkout process.
Ship Your Media: You will receive our secure PO Box address and packing instructions via email. Safely box up your media and ship them to us.
We Digitize & Process: We carefully clean and digitize your media into high-quality digital formats. If you opted for our premium AI Upscaling, we will also apply advanced enhancements to achieve the best possible resolution for your specific footage.
Digital Delivery: Once processing is complete, we will immediately email you a secure cloud link to download your brand-new digital files!
Final Shipping Quote: Next, we will pack your physical items into a single shipment. This includes your original media (unless you opted for secure disposal) and any physical USB drives you purchased. We will weigh the complete package and email you an invoice for the exact USPS shipping cost. We pass our discounted commercial rates directly to you with zero markups!
Physical Delivery: Upon payment of the shipping invoice, we will safely ship your final package out to you via USPS Priority Mail.
Please Note: The service price covers digitization and AI upscaling only. You are responsible for the postage costs to safely ship your media to and from our facility.
Return Shipping Policy & Liability Unless you have elected to have your original items securely destroyed, your physical media will be returned to you upon project completion.
Standard Carrier: All returned media is shipped via USPS Priority Mail, which includes a tracking number provided to you via email.
Invoicing & Return Process: Return shipping is not included in your initial purchase. Once your project is complete, we will weigh your packaged media and email you a quote for the exact USPS shipping cost. Upon payment of this final shipping invoice, we will release your digital files and immediately ship your original physical media back to you.
Insurance Limitations: USPS Priority Mail includes up to $100 in carrier insurance. Please note: Carrier insurance solely covers the commercial replacement value of the blank physical media (e.g., the cost of a blank VHS cassette or USB drive), not the sentimental, historical, or production value of the recorded content.
Transit Liability: Automation For Illumination uses premium, weather-resistant packaging to protect your items. However, once the package is transferred to the possession of the United States Postal Service, we assume no liability for media that is delayed, damaged, or lost in transit.
